Ewido and Avast

Hello All,

OK i have just rebuilt my computer installing windows XP sp2. I have installed Avast 4.7, Zone Alarm free, Ad-aware SE personal and Spy bot search and destroy. I have been trying to install Ewido but for some reason every time i run the setup and complete the installation when i reboot my system Avast on scanner-access is disabled. Can anyone explain why i cant run/install the 2 at the same time?!

Without more information, it would be hard to tell. Both of these run without conflict on my computer and many others.

Are you getting any error messages and if so, can you post a screenshot?

All avast providers or you’re just not seeing the icon on system tray?
Are you using TeaTimer (from SpyBot) or Ad-Watch (from Ad-aware)? Aren’t they blocking the avast startup items?
