Excelc.exe is ransomware?

Hi,
my Avast Premier wants to block Excelc (Q:\140066.CSY\OFFICE14\EXCELC.EXE) as ransomware. Using MS Excel Starter. It is really ransomware? Should I block or allowe?

Hi pebbo,

if you’re referring to the Ransomware shield detection window you can allow it.

This looks like a virtualized MS Office 2010 which doesn’t allow the Ransomware shield to verify it.
