Exceptions keep deleting them selfes.

When I set a file Path as an Exception in Avast it does work but only for a short time (~60min) than it just removes the entries from the List and deletes the Files in the Excluded directory.

I have this problem now for several Months.

Any Ideas what I can do to fix this?

I’m using Avast business 19.5.2563 (build 19.5.4444.506) on Windows 10 64Bit.

So Avast is synchronising the Settings including the Exceptions with the settings set in the Management Console. Every time this happens it will overwrite / Delete the Exceptions set localy is that correct?

One thing I find strange is that restarting my PC does not delete the Exceptions list. I can set an Exception and Restart my PC and it will still be there.

What is the Recommended solution for this? The Exception should only be added for a few machines while the others don’t need it.

Yes.

You could create/duplicate a new settings template in the management console, add the exceptions needed as per https://kb.support.business.avast.com/GetPublicArticle?title=Avast-Business-Antivirus-Managed-Exclusions-Guide and then change the few devices to use this settings template in the management console.
