Exceptions

I have a Refog keylogger Monitor on my computer in “stealth” mode. I have included it on the list of exceptions in the setting in various ways and no matter how I do it, Avast keeps recognizing it and putting it in the virus chest, messing up the program. When I looked at the information provided by Avast the path is the same as the exception, so I don’t understand why this is happening. It comes up as a PUP, but both paths are shown the same.
Can anyone help as to why this is happening?
Thank you

Can you post a screenshot of the exclusions settings?

Hi, I’ve done a print screen of the page but am not sure how to get it into the dialogue. Copy and pasting doesn’t work.

Use the additional options link just under where you write your replies.

Which shield exactly is detecting it ? and where are you placing the exception ? if you have only placed it in settings-exclusions this is purely for on demand scans so you may have to place the same exclusions into the file system shield exclusions to exempt it from realtime scanning and you might also have to place the programs exe files into the trusted list in behaviour shield.

From your print screen you need to paste that into an image editor (Microsoft paint will do if you don’t have an image editor), crop it just to show the relevant information and save the file (as a .gif, .jpg or .png image file type) and attach it to your next topic using the additional options that craigb mentioned.
