Exchange and Avast server (with exchange) 4.7.676 and 4.6.566

Virtual servers will not go online with 4.7.676 installed, Microsoft told us to remove Avast! and the mail was flowing again. Seems somehow Avast! is interferring with SMTP flow.

Again this 2k3 server w/ avast un-installed works fine.

4.6.566 sort of works, however we’re starting to get the same errors.

same here! I just got off the phone with Microsoft. I had to uninstall Avast to get my mail flowing again.

Any errors in the event log? Any other hints on how to e.g. simulate the problem here?

I followed another link to get some error reporting and the file was uploaded via the dump.

CSI IISDiag Dump.zip

That is the IIS microsoft debug tool. Please let me know.

Same problem here.
2-node cluster. Server1 without Avast runs perfectly. Server2 with Avast 4.7 fails after a couple hours. Server2 with Avast 4.6 runs a bit better, fails after almost a day.
