Excluded application is still blocked

Avast free, x.1466

I have several applications excluded from scanning when launched. This one particular application, Multimedia Fusion Developer, is not treated the same as the rest. It is the strangest thing because Avast does not place it in sandbox mode instead I get an error (see pic). When I turn off Avast all is ok and the application launches properly.

How can I solve this, please?

That doesn’t look like an avast! popup.

Have you tried re-installing the program ???

At first I did not connect it with Avast since I have worked with this app alongside Avast for several years with no problems so it was a bit confusing. After some hrs of testing, reinstalling and emails to the app creators anti virus program was mentioned. So I tested turning it off and voila, everything worked as usual. There is no question about it, Avast is unfortunately the crook here. :slight_smile:

Since I’m not familiar with the program, you’ll need to wait for someone who is or someone from Avast!
The notice still doesn’t look like anything from avast! which doesn’t rule out an incompatibility issue.
