Avast! is a great product. I have been using on my computers, and was thrilled to find it for my phone. You guys are providing an invaluable service offering protection from the bad guys. Kudos.
My first scan turned up my rooting app, which did not surprise me. AVG allowed me to exclude it from future scans, but I can’t find how to it with Avast! With the vast number who have taken the liberty of taking control of their phones with rooting apps, I’m sure there must be an exclusion option. If not, it would be great to have one.

But yes, the question about PUP is quite right - did you try to scan with this option on or off?
