Explorer extension archive cleaning bug

ZIP archive with only 1 infected file → completely deleted
ZIP archive with several clean files and 2 infected files → only infected files removed from the ZIP archive

7z archive with only 1 infected file → detected but if i select Delete, archive remains intact
7z archive with several clean files and 2 infected files → detected but if i select Delete, archive remains intact

I think you should check all supported archives for such situations.
I don’t have resources to test all supported packers, but i could test these two. I used EICAR sample and some random files.
7z archives were compressed with 7-zip 4.10b (www.7-zip.org).

As far as I know, the operations (such as Delete) are not supported for 7-zip archive (yet?).
An error message should be displayed, however. I’ll check that.

“yet?” it’s not supported

I was trying to say that it may be supported in the future…

Ok,but i didn’t get any warning. I selected delete and nothing happened after that. Archive was still there, also all files inside.

I think it would be a good idea to offer deletion of the whole archive. Even though I’m not so sure for the case of “mail archives” (e.g. PST files) ;D

Add dialog(warning) to delete entire 7-zip archive, and add only warning message for PST files.

Vlk, what about Thunderbird mail box?
Is there a way to delete the only infected mail or the user must ‘lost’ all mail box?
Is this related to avast or a Thunderbird limitation?
If I remember correctly, now we have a message warning this ‘entire mail box’ lose, haven’t we?
