I noticed that avast! version 4.8.1282 fixed an incompatibility with ext2fsd driver, is it possible one still exists with the Ext2 IFS driver? I have tried to install it twice on my Vista and have not gotten it to work. Has anyone gotten it to work? Here is the link for it → http://www.fs-driver.org/index.html
What exactly does it mean - “have not gotten it to work”? Any bluescreens?
no, it is supposed to be able to read ext2/ext3 partitions. But when I click on the drive in “Computer”, it asks me if i want to format it. Anyways, I did the first troubleshooting step on the driver’s page and it looks like an issue with the program itself or my ext2 drive, not a problem with avast!.
