Hello! I paid for the avast ultimate subscription to be able to have the VpN. and since then In my logs the Norton VPN appear and I have not downloaded said subscription, is it an avast add-on?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
I also use Avast Antivirus Free without VPN, so I can’t speak from personal experience.
I would say this isn’t (or shouldn’t be) normal, whilst Avast, AVG and Norton are within the larger company Gen Digital. So it wouldn’t be unusual for many components to have a commonality.
That said it really should be badged as the Antivirus it is installed in.
