Extensions reported as on - but are gray & inactive

Clicking the upper right 3 dots, I see the default extensions are all green/on. But they remain gray and inoperable on the menu bar. I hover over Passwords and it says “The extension is not activated. Please activate first.” Online Avast Help says “The Passwords extension…is included in SZ Browser by default.” —

When I went to Facebook for the first time in AZ, I filled in my name and password. A popup asked me if I wanted to activate Passwords. Yes, please. But all that happened is the key icon in the menu flickered on/red for a split second, then went back to gray.

The other extensions remain gray and inoperable also.

Sure hoping to figure this out. I’m not using SZ since I can’t get Passwords to work.

As per my original post, I guess Passwords can only be set up for one browser at a time? I currently have scads of them set up for Firefox. Do I have to throw those out to set up Passwords for SZ?—deal breaker if I do, but would appreciate definitive info on this. Thanks.
