External HD has 'shortcut virus'. Avast scan shows  infected files. Help!

I would like to keep all my files on my external HD. I have 5 different infected files with about 300 gb of data on my drive. What is the right move if I want to remove these files and keep all my data? Avast scan on my drive found these infected files: 2 files with WMA:WiMad (DRP), 1 file with MOV:QuickLoad(DRP), 1 file with WMA:Wimad(SUSP), and 1 file with WIN32:VB-PQX(WRM).
Obviously I know i can take care of these infected files a number a ways with my Avast software but is it smart to do so? Will it destroy my files on my external? Whats the best way to get rid of these infected files and still keep my data in tact?

Also i want to add exactly what my external has been doing since it was infected. When I open up my external and view the files, all the files have been turned into shortcuts.

MCShield scan log (this log you copy and paste here)

Here is my mbam from my computer and the mbam from my external hard drive. Note: When i did a scan on my external with AVast it found 5 threats and all were labeled high risk besides one labeled medium. When i used malwarebytes and scanned my external it only found 1. Will be posting Farbar logs next.

Can you post the Avast scan log or a screenshot also? (Info about the exact files found and infections listed would be great.)
Also, have you tried uploading the files to VirusTotal (www.virustotal.com)? If so, please post the report links VT provides.

Im having some issues with tarbar. Everytime i run the scan it stops sometime during the scan and the window says not responding and the scan never finishes and i have to close it out. I reboot and it still does the same thing. I will get the MCshield logs and try to get the Avast logs. Once again thanks for the help.

haha figures after i post about the scan not working and i try it again after the 38394594 time it works. Here are frst and addition logs. Doing avast scan again on computer and external hd and will post those after. Also, the first AVast scan on my external showed the 5 infections i listed in the original post. I did remove 1 of those threats with Malwarebytes. I will run Avast scab on my computer and external HD and post those.
