Starting yesterday, I’ve been getting a F/P from Avast, claiming Microsoft WORKS SpreadSheet v6.0 (wksss.exe) is a “suspicious item”, Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]
The file, from Microsoft, has been on my system(s) “forever”. A scan by VirusTotal reports it is clean — including according to avast’s own database!

The actions on the pop-up warning are all “destructive” (Fix, Move to Chest, Delete, Block, Repair)… I had to open the Avast GUI and make an exclusion on the file shield to exclude it.
I then reported it to avast as a F/P, expecting it to be fixed. Since then, I have received at least two more definition updates, each of which continues to object to the file.
I realize this file is “ancient”… I don’t know how may others still have/use it… but I would like to see the F/P corrected, so I can remove the file from the exclusion list, and continue to use it without impediment.
