I was wondering if there was a way I could set Avast up to scan Facebook or Facebook’s wall for any viruses. I’ve noticed a lot of viruses going around with different links. I’m not very knowledgeable about how programs work. Things have to be in simple terms for me to understand them. Any help would be appreciated.
you dont have to do anything, leave avast at default setting…

yeah facebook is just a website that will be scanned like any other we site ;D
ps: no facebook setting in Avast

I would make sure that in “Real-Time Shields”--------“Sensitivity” “Heuristics sensitivity” is set to High and that “Use code emulation” and “Scan for potentially unwanted programs” are checked.
