Hi,
I just installe Avast yesterday and since then, Facebook freezes but only when using Chrome (which is my preferred browser). It doesn’t appear to be doing it in Firefox…yet. Help! :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
What OS/SP?
What exact version of avast?
Is/was there another av on the system?
If so, did you remove it/disabled it?

Yes, AVG. Still installed but disabled.
Disable is not enough … you need to uninstall

When you install one AV before removing the one currently on your computer,
you can actually corrupt both programs.
If this happens, it’s best to totally remove both.The instructions in my signature will help you accomplish that task.
