Facebook Disabled

I have Avast Premium and i thought i was safe - my Facebook was disabled on the 31st December 2025 and i cannot get it back. Have tried multiple pages on FB but no luck. It has photos and messages which I was keeping as they were very personal. Any ideas of how i can get it back??

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member. I don’t have a facebook account, so I can’t speak from personal experience. If I visit the sit I’m just presented with the login or create an account page.

What do you mean by disabled ?
Are you getting an Avast Alert or an error message from the site and if s give details or a screenshot.

Have you tried adding Facebook to your Exceptions, see image example of an exception I have for YouTube.

Thanks for the reply. No, Facebook was hacked and then disabled as they used it for something. I thought avast would protect me from someone getting into an account.

Your Facebook account being hacked would be external to the protection you have on your system.

So I did a search and this has obviously happened before, the AI Overview on this search may help. There are many other hits on this search also.

Facebook was hacked and then disabled

I suppose it is too late, but some function of Avast services (like “Hack Alerts”) is supposed to let you know if ‘they’ find your (?) account access information on the web (without revealing what they’re looking for?) (including ‘dark’?) and might have been able to notify you to quickly change your FB password.
“Hack Alerts” seems to be only for certain kinds of email server.
