Facebook hijacked my homepage in Firefox, problems after installing Avast.

I did this

Start >> Run

Combofix /Uninstall

But it says “windows cannot find combofix”. I did delete it yesterday and did a major clean up on my machine but there is a combofix file in my C drive, should that be removed?

Also just ran a quick scan with malware bytes, and all seems good ;D

Manual delete:

C:\qoobox
C:\ComboFix

Reset System Restore ( turn off/on )

Earlier on i had a few problems with the net, something about a conflicting IP address and the mouse pointer was getting stuck :-\

But followed all your instructions after that and so far all is good.
