failed to init aswData.dll

Hello, wondering if anyone can help me, I am fairly new to avast and forums and only purchased it a few months ago after downloading the thirty day free trial. Out of nowhere my avast has stop starting up after boot up, I have no avast icon at the bottom right corner and I immediatly get the message Failed to init aswData.dll I’m using a sony vaio vgn nr32m with windows vista.

Repair avast!:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
