I received today a mail to renew my Avast while next one is scheduled for the end of the year.
Seems to be fake mail

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
Unless it comes from Avast (and as you mention close to your scheduled renewal), then it is likely it could be a scam. There are many such scams for popular programs, not just Avast.
Typically these scams are seeking a high sum of money (way above what a regular subscription be) to prompt action, to phone the telephone number on the phone or email address (not linked to Avast).
I will try to attract some Avast Team input.

Never post an active email addresses genuine or suspect, others may stupidly check it, not so much fun then.
This is why I used a screenshot.
I don’t believe you as a new user can edit this post - but check and see if you can remove it.
Otherwise it will require a moderator to remove it.
It is not the exact address (amended) but you can remove. Cannot do it.
I can’t edit user posts, or I would have done so before my post.
That requires Moderator Status Avast Team members only (as far as I’m aware)
