False detection and unable to whitelist

I have been using Athletica.ai to train for a half-Ironman until it got flagged for phishing. I reported it 5 days ago for a false detection.

I tried to whitelist the site so I could keep using it, but I keep getting blocked even with the whitelist.

Is it normal for AVAST to take that long for review? Is there a way to force the whitelist without disabling Web Shield entirely?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
You won’t get a direct response but it should be analysed within 48 hours, if found to be false it will be removed. So it must presumably still be considered a good detection.

There are sites that can also check a site link.

I will try and draw some Avast Team input into this matter.

It looks pretty good on those sites.

I can only post one image, but SiteCheck said it was a low security risk, and internet.nl said it does not have a DNSSEC or HSTS.

I know it can take up to 48 hours, but I am more concerned that it’s been 5 days and the whitelist still isn’t operational.

Your image indicates the check was done on a sub(.)domain app2 and that final url is connecting off site. So I don’t know if that is also the case with the Avast detection as you haven’t posted a screenshot of the alert (as in this instance).

As I mentioned I will try and draw some Avast Team input into this matter - which I have.

Hello @user8359 ,

Thank you for reporting this. I reviewed the reported URLs but was unable to reproduce the Avast detection at this time.

If you are still seeing the detection, could you please share a screenshot of the alert along with the Detection ID? This will help us investigate the issue further.

Thank you, @DavidR, for highlighting this topic.

No problem here, just visited the site.

I don’t know how you are checking it, if via a computer with Avast Installed, ensure you update the virus database.

Forcing the virus update worked! Thank you!
