False Positive > 60Mb

Hello,

We are a small software company developing technical software, and we encounter a lot of problems with Avast and AVG since your antivirus flags our exe as a malware.

Please see the VirusTotal result: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/fdcb8b386b44831eb5228ebb1e8fd2aa2aac108b9eae1044fde9efa89cd39a88/detection

This false possitive is causing us problems when our clients try to install new versions and also it tarnishes our reputation.

Also it is not possible to submit a file larger than 60Mb under the below link:
https://www.avast.com/whitelist-program-application

Could you please help us with getting our software whitelisted?

I am happy to provide any further information required.

Regards,
Demetris

Several report options listed here, like FTP server if to big

Thank you, but I cannot join the whitelisting program to get ftp credentials, as the registration process requires uploading a file <60MB. My file is ~80Mb
Please advice.
Thanks

Possibly clutching at straws here:
I just wonder if it is possible to upload it to the avast anonymous ftp location and refer to that uploaded file name when trying to sign up to the whitelisting program.

Hello,

The form won’t submit unless you select a file! Please fix this and provide clear guides on how to whitelist our software.

We would like to whitelist our software immediately. This is totally unprofessional by Avast and is causing us so much trouble.

the detection FileRepMalware has been removed in 14.04.2020 at 06:25 AM.

Our virus specialists have now cleared its reputation in our database.

With URLs this change should be instant, but it might take up to 24 hours with files.
