False Positive: anonymouse.org?

First blocked by Network Shield, once that is disabled, blocked by WebShield, disable that, then will access site, but FileSystemShield says something is malicious. I have Malwarebytes which does not detect anything.

With the WebShield, it appears to have something to with this: [L] HTML:Script-inf (0)
With the FileSystem Shield, it appears to have something to do with this: [L] JS:ScriptIP-inf [Trj] (0)

I first noticed this happening today. Never before. Is this an Avast error which needs to be fixed in an update?

There is a script tag there which I believe is used to redirect if access to the page isn’t from a parent frame. This I believe is benign.

I have reported it as a probable false positive.

In the meantime, I have been trying to exclude it in the various shields that allow exclusions (i.e. NetworkShield does not have any exclusions, so you have to disable it), but not having success doing this. Any suggestions without having to disable any part of Avast?

Hello,
it will be fixed in next VPS.

I suddenly started getting this problem yesterday - look forward to it being fixed.

There are no user settings in the network shield so you won’t have much success in that area. Avast are usually quick to correct an acknowledged FP, as Jan has said this will be fixed in the next VPS update. I haven’t seen a VPS update for today yet though.

see here, and I don’t think that’s an FP

edit: as it was detected by the web shield on my side, and the OP “complained” about a “network shield alert”, it seems like Avast removed the Network shield detection; and since the site does appear to contain malware (see Google safe browsing diag in my thread), it should be re-added I think.

Well it has been acknowledged as a FP by Jan from the avast virus labs and slated for VPS correction, Reply #3

The VPS update for today 100925-0 corrects this detection.

They removed the malware sample what we catched so i removed our block from this site.

oh okay so as I thought there was indeed something, thanks for the heads up.
