False Positive as Chinese claim or a dangerous malware to infest all apps.

Whenever it is the real McCoy it is a very dangerous trojan: https://www.kaspersky.com/blog/triada-trojan/11481/

Did avast detect this on it’s own or just followed DrWeb’s initial detection of the malcode?

Remarkable is that no Chinese av flags it. Question therefore - is this Chinese State Spyware?

Hi Damian, nobody cares who was first, Avast detects it. :wink:

@der Asyn,

That’s right, my good friend, up and counting, now 30 to flag it.

Avast Mobile Security flags it also. I have the latest version on my android, and I am protected!

One thing stays a fact, SMS is outdated and should be retired a.s.a.p.
Too much mishap coming through that obsolete insecure protocol :wink: and it lies also at the basis of this infection.

Damian

Oh, P.S. That is why Avst Mobile Security comes with an SMS shield now.

Yep, we’re covered. :slight_smile:
