false positive detect

Hello,

I have noticed that Avast Internet Security detects file from url hxxp://sputnikmailru.cdnmail.ru/mailruhomesearch.exe .
This executable file is installer of extensions. It has a CPU = LLC Mail.Ru and distributed correctly (user displays information about the installation of products.
The user, in turn, may accept or reject). Until recently, this file was not recognized as a threat. Why is this issue happening? Can we get whitelisted?

Thanks in advance, Ivan

Avast is not the only one to detect this apparent malware: https://urlquery.net/report/db8c7c0a-d6ae-4e0b-8780-9b9fe10f4da5
It is a PUP detection, that means Potential Unwanted Program detection, if you are confronted with it unknowingly.

Hosted in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, there is also DNS server anomality involved.

IP also has a certain malcode launching reputation:
