False Positive File

hello all,I am really anoyed by the following Problem
I am using avast Free Antivirus from some time.I also use software “Dev C++” Compiler to make C++ Programs.When I compile and Run a program,Avast detects it as a virus and blocks it.So i have to disable it to continue making my Programs.It is Sure that it is not a virus.The Virus type is Win32:Evo-gen.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

send the file via email virus@avast.com
put “False positive” to email subject

or through http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php

The error shown is
“413 Request Entity Too Large”

Is the definition updated?i m getting same error till now.

Patience…they received the sample only an hour ago.
It will be fixed in one of two ways…

  1. Regular vps update
  2. Streaming update.

My best guess would the the former and not the latter. :slight_smile:
