I am the author of Intelliremote and Avast is reporting my software as a false postive and it’s very frustrating because users are posting negative reviews of my software claiming Spyware.

Send the sample to virus@avast.com zipped and password protected with the password in email body, a link to this topic, the URL for the VT results page, might help and false positive in the subject.
I would have tried to download and forward it to avast but I’m on dial-up, sorry.

I sent them a note and the report and a link to download my software. My email server doesn’t allow attachments larger than 3MB so I just let them know where to get it. Hopefully they will respond quickly because it’s KILLING my business.

They are usually quite quick to correct an FP when Identified.
OK I managed to email a password protected zip to virus@avast.com so hopefully they will resolve it today!
