False positive ntfs.sys

Looks to be an old Windows Service Pack part, I’ve already submitted it to the lab for testing, though I had actually submitted 3 and 2 came back clean already. Also Elkbd.sys from my old thread is no longer detected as malware, yay!

So is it safe to restore this file?

Also I deleted it on my secondary drive that I don’t use for anything but storing extra things, but it used to have windows on it, is there going to be any problem since I was stupid and picked the wrong option.

Yes.

After I restore them do I then delete them from my Virus Chest or does that delete them from my computer? I really don’t want to mess this up.

After you restored the file you can delete it from the chest.

Thank you, everything works fine and I was able to restart without an issue, so about this false positive, has it been fixed or should I expect to keep getting alerted to it for awhile?

You’re welcome.
