I didnt do an avast scan but suddenly is get this message
is i a false positive or rootkit? (especially since its related to svc)
Can’t read a thing on your image on tinypic.
There is nothing to stop you attaching the image to a forum post using the Attachments and other options.
Done ;D
A false positive MBAM driver ;D
i wonder what trigger it lol
it seems malwarebytes and avast have fp when it comes to the use of both as mbam have this " mbam has blocked avastsvc" thing and you guys have the “mbamswissarmy rootkit”
;D
I have MBAM Pro on both my systems, yet I have never experienced this issue.
What were you doing when this was detected ?
e.g. were you running an avast scan (if so which one), running an mbam scan (if so which one).
Security based applications to be more effective have their drivers hidden and or running at a low level, which can also be a sign of malware. I don’t know if or why MBAM don’t digitally sign this driver.
On the Action to take, there is a drop down option on that you should choose Ignore.
Yea i ignored it, i wasnt running a scan when it popped up
btw eset online scan found something called crossriderapi (JScript file) and crossridermanifest (JSON file)
if you have avast mbam conflict
see section K

Thanks, i already read that ;D
i dont really add stuff to exceptions as i believe malware can take over the service and avast wont recognising it because of that
