False positive, update to 2015 i did not ask for, licence removed. Why?

I have only recently returned to Avast! in the last couple of months, and happy with the free version i upgraded to Premier. Things have been fine after purchasing a 3 year licence package on eBay.
This morning i find there has been an update for an anti hacking security programme attached to a popular Steam game called Robocraft which has caused Avast! to get the jitters and block it. Nothing too concerning there, so i submitted the false positive report and began the update Avast! required. I am surprised to see i am 2015 and no longer have an account, yet i believed i had over 600 days remaining. My early morning half hour shooting virtual robots to set up my day has escalated quickly! I could use some light shed on this thanks.

As far as I know, avast doesn’t sell through ebay.

UPDATE: The purchase i made through eBay was removed by eBay, so there would appear to be some sort of issue. There is no explanation from any party as to why. I figure i have been ripped off by an unscrupulous seller on eBay. Because eBay have removed the listing number, eBay does not recognise the transaction has ever taken place, so i am not covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. It doesnt seem to apply to fake software licences.
When i check the expiry date, it is again listed as 2016 but with a subscription status of BLACKLISTED. Yep, it is in bold caps too! No definitions updates, but everything else is working for the time being so it looks like i will be buying something else, just not from eBay lol.

Avast in itself doesn’t sell through ebay and many of the unbelievable offers on ebay turn out to be just that unbelievable.

It may have been used as it was found not to be genuine - I have seen many avast and other software licenses listed for way under the normal purchase price.

There may well be some approved avast resellers using ebay - but they would be few and far between - and they wouldn’t be selling at ridiculously low prices.

Contact Paypal, bank or however you paid and ask them to to give back your money.
