False positive warning!

Hi guys!

Hope you all are well.

I am a subscriber to Avast Premium Security and the antivirus is preventing me from accessing my own website (attached image), claiming that there is a risk of phishing on it, even though it was launched a few days ago.

I have already sent a request via false positive report and have not received a response so far. I just sent a new false positive report in the hope of being answered.

Does anyone here know how I can resolve this?

Best regards,
Bruno

You’re welcome.

Obviously as Avast users we can only try to point you in the right direction.

DavidR and Chris,

Thank you guys once again!

We’re going to double check these items while Avast don’t give us an anwser or instructions.

Best regards!

Avast isn’t alone in considering at least suspect.

Some security pointers reported here - https://en.internet.nl/site/dicionariosinonimos.com/2935350/
As mentioned by chris…, whilst this is Considered a Low Security Risk - https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/dicionariosinonimos.com - there are hardening improvements suggested.

Also Note:
The IP Address (from your domain name) is apparently assigned to the ISP Amazon.com
digging further - in the IP address this appears to be:
Content Delivery Network
Hostname biolinky.co
Domain Name vercel.com

I don’t know if this may possibly be an issue.

Thanks again, Chris.

I submitted 11 days ago and, considering there was no answer, I submitted yesterday once again.

Is there any additional way to make the official Avast team see this thread and resolve the issue?

As you said, It would seem that your site does not present a major danger

Just detected procedure that is commonly used in suspicious activity:

When did you fill in the false positive form?

Sure! It’s done!

Thanks you

ok,
however, can you edit your message by replacing “http” with “hxxp” so that it is no longer “clickable”?

Hi Chris, thanks for your kind explanation!

Sure I can: it’s hxxps://www.dicionariosinonimos.com/

In the meantime, I will wait for any response from Avast, as the site does not pose any danger…

Best regards, Bruno

Thank you so much! We submit the complaint at https://www.avast.com/report-false-positive#pc but with no response so far…

You won’t get any more responses since avast announced it

Your form has been (or will be) processed within 48 hours.
If avast considers that it is a false positive, you will no longer receive the alert, otherwise its lab considers that there is still a threat, and this is where avast has let you down over the last few months by not telling you why the site is dangerous.
You need to do more research with other labs (see the link given by Pondus).

nb:I did a search on “dictionariosinonimos . com” but it tells me that the site doesn’t exist.
Could you write the exact name of the site in your message, as it’s hard to see the difference between the “i” and the “l” in the screenshot?

Does anyone here know how I can resolve this?
