Hi,
A few days ago, I was programming in Visual Basic 2010 Express, and then, suddenly, when i Debug my App, Avast! blocked it as a Virus (and removes it).
So I make a new App (just to be sure that the reason was not a suspicious code), and this app was a simple windows with a button. And it detects it too.
I tried on old projects, created like in 2013, and avast said that was a virus too. So i Uploaded It to Virustotal and this is the result: https://www.virustotal.com/es/file/f8e46eb88d0bdafdb47bb6fa43a91b4199d67d306a928a852663106bf698a84f/analysis/1430490886/ . 1/56. Avast. “Win32:GenMaliciousA-RHF [Trj]”.
This is VERY bad because very much people around the world have Visual Basic-Coded Programs on his computers.
I emailed Avast with “False Positive”, like 3 days ago, but I think this is very Urgent, because there are thousands of Great VB apps all around the computers with Avast installed.
Thanks
try report it here https://support.avast.com > avast virus lab
Okay, i have just done it.
Probably falsely detected as an advanced heuristic and reputation detection for an injector trojan.

Thanks, I already have send avast the false positive inform, through the program, ticked and email. I will wait a few days and if nothing changes i will notify avast again.
Hello,
thanks for notice. FP will be fixed in next VPS update.

Hi, thanks!!
Avast are still detecting old Debug files, but after VPS update if you re-Debug the files (re-compile) it´s not detecting.
So no problem.
Thanks to all!!
Okay, now it don’t detects any more the False Positive (not even the old).
All Solved!!
Thanks to all participants and to avast
