FALSE POSITIVE: www.ccsh.cz (Czechoslovak Hussite Church) - Cleaned site blocked for 17+ days

Dear Avast Threat Intelligence & VirusLab Team,

I am writing to urgently escalate a long-standing false positive issue regarding the domain www.ccsh.cz (the official web portal of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church), which is currently blocked by Avast Web Shield.

We have submitted multiple requests through your official False Positive form over the last 17 days, but we have received no response or status update whatsoever.

Current Security Status & Verification:

  • Root Cause Resolved: The web server was fully remediated following a historical security incident. A thorough forensic analysis was conducted, and all malicious artifacts were removed.

  • 100% Clean Across All Security Vendors:

    • VirusTotal: Completely clean (0 vendors reporting threats).

    • Google Safe Browsing / Search Console: 0 security issues detected.

    • CRDF Threat Center: Reviewed and removed from their threat database.

Impact & Request for Clarification:

Because Avast is currently the only security vendor on the internet flagging this clean domain, and given Avast’s origins in the Czech Republic, this lack of response is creating a severe crisis.

As an administrator, explaining a silent block to a national religious institution—whose users are non-technical—is becoming nearly impossible. Without any feedback from your side, leadership and users are beginning to infer that the block may be driven by non-technical or discriminatory reasons rather than a legitimate threat.

To resolve this critical situation, we request one of the following immediately:

  1. Immediate removal of the domain www.ccsh.cz from Avast’s malicious URL databases.

  2. A formal written technical explanation specifying the exact URL, payload, or detection logic triggering this block, so I can present a legitimate technical report to the church’s governing body.

Thank you for addressing this escalated matter promptly.

Best regards,
Martin Kadlec

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

This is the current Virus total link analysis 1/92, that said there are 35 unrated.

This is the current Virus total link for the ccsh(.)cz site.

There are sites that can also check a site link and or file upload.

You won’t get a direct response (from the report) but it should be analysed within 48 hours, if found to be false it will be removed.

I will try and draw some Avast Team input into this matter.
