What can I do if a file is detected like a false-positive? Exclusions doesn’t work, and file is erased anyway.
FileRep Malware is the message i can see.
I’m not an AVAST user, but we send software to our clients, and from the las 15/01/2015, AVAST is erasing the executable file.
I hope there is anything we can do.
I sent the file to ‘ccare@avast.com’, but nobody answer me the last mesage.

ya contacté con support AVAST vía ticket y se limitaron a indicarme que el archivo estaba limpio (que probara a actualizar el antivirus…). En cualquier caso he vuelto a hacer una petición via Falso Positivo.
En virus total y Metascanonline los resultados son de ningún virus:

En nuestra empresa este error está dando muchos problemas, ya que nuestros clientes quedan inoperativos hasta la restitución del archivo o bien la reinstalación de el software, y en algunos casos ha originado la pérdida de datos críticos para el cliente…
¿Qué puede significar la clasificación “FileRepMalware”?
¿Puede un archivo parecer limpio, pero detectarse como virus una vez se activa, por alguna llamada a algun otro archivo, por ejemplo?
Desconozco el funcionamiento interno de todo este tema, y me gustaría encontrar alguna solución satisfactoria, además de aprovechar para entender qué está pasando…

I already got a ticket in support.avast, but they simply told me that the file was not detected as a virus at that moment, and that I could try to update tha AVAST version. Anyway, I tried again via “false positive” section today (no answer at this moment).
In both “virustotal” and “metascanonline” the results are similar: no virus detected.
In our company this false-positive is causing a lot of problems, because our clients are inoperative until we reinstall the software, or we rescue the deleted file from the virus chest. Moreover, sometimes clients have lost critical information because this issue…
I would like to know what “FileRepMalware” means, and if a file could being not detected as a virus until it is being executed. I don’t really know how it works, and I would like to know what to say to our clients, not only advise to change the antivirus… because this is the only real solution I found until now.

I can see that FileRepMalware can provided a powerfull prevention mode, but what happens when it causes such a big problem. No body from AVAST! gave me an answer about what to do…

avast will not respond to submitted (possible) false positives unless they need more information.
Finally they sent me an email explaining the false positive is confirmed, and they will solve it in the next virus database.
I hope it is true!
