Please help. Avast is triggering a false positive on our website acratech (dot) net for URL:Scam. Our website company Big Commerce did a full scan and said there was nothing malicious. I also checked it with Google Safe and it was clean. I checked with a couple of others and it was clean. I have reported it as a false positive to Avast, now what can I do?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
There are sites that can also check a site link and or file upload.
Possible False Positive
- New location to report both a False Positive and or a False Negative (for File or URL)
- Choose Your Sample Submission Type | Avast
- I don’t know where you reported it the above is the correct location, but you won’t get a direct response it should be analysed within 48 hours, if found to be false it will be removed.
I’d suggest that you resubmit it through avast’s false positive form with clean scan proof.
