Self-extracting WinAce archives are seen as “Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}”
I have attached my C:\BOOT.INI file compressed with WinAce 2.6 with self-extract module wgui_en.sfx (Win32 GUI English), renamed to .txt (so .exe.txt)
I get the same thing…
Wich is really annoying because i have over 500 self executable program in my pc, i tryed to exclude them without any luck.
But i was wondering if there was anything out to fix this…
The message i get is Trojan-Gen’Petite" on ALL of my zipped files…

You revived a thread almost a year old, so it’s hardly relevant.
What is your VPS version? Does it still happen with the latest one (0645-1)? If yes, please pack a few of the files into a password-protected ZIP or RAR and send it to virus@avast.com (with a subject like “False positive”). Thanks.
