Hello all,
My wife plays some older games that were working fine on Tuesday 25 Feb. Yesterday, Wednesday 26 Feb, they didn’t work and on further investigation the ‘.exe’ files had been deleted from the game installation folders. The games are in the Aveyond series and we’ve had no problems with them in the past at all. What really suprised me was the way the ‘.exe’ files were deleted without any confirmation/acknowledgement from us. The ‘.exe’ have since been included in the exclusions.

Hello,
if you use default settings, the files should be in avast virus chest (if the cause of missing files is avast!). So then extract the files from chest and send them to virus@avast.com with “false positive” in email subject.
