I have Auction Wizard 2000 as well as the older original version, which I use as reference for older data. When running Avast set to thorough scan it detects several parts of the software as viruses. I also noticed it picking out pieces of other softwares, though this only happened a few times. It made the virus scanning process very time consuming as I had to watch it every minute just waiting to click continue for another false positive. Overall the scan took around 2 hours if not more. If it hadn’t paused waiting for me to click continue, which sometimes took a minute as I was busy with other things while it scanned, it might’ve saved 30-40 minutes. Still, it’s a bit slow for my liking. These are just things I’d like to point out.
I have yet to fix the connection problem I reported some time before, though I plan on uninstalling and reinstalling Zone Alarm later Sunday to see if that makes a difference. AS for now, I’m primarly concerned about the problem with false positives. If the developers could please look into that.
