False positives

A software my company develops and sells is currently setting off your scan as “Win32:Spyware-gen [Trj].” We do NOT contain any spyware/malware/viruses, and no other virus scanners are producing this false positive.

How should we proceed to fix this problem with your scanner?

Well, you can archive the wrong detected files in password protected archive (usually the password is “virus”) and send this archive to virus@avast.com, as mail subject you can write “False Positive” :wink:
