false rootkit scanning

i ran a scan after my update and it said this Suspicious files have been detected [using a heuristic method] so i followed what it wanted to do a bootscan went though whole process and avast found nothing ,now when i scan my whole computor it shows same thing over and over but never finds the rootkit ,ive scanned every file it states in the box that avast says is involved in the rootkit but they all scan out good nothing found ,it only started this after the avast program update its never done this before ive downloaded malware bytes and scanned it finds nothing but i can run a scan with avast and it pops up same thing .i dont have a clue what to do makes me feel like its not scanning correctly ive noticed it is slower than it used to be …please help .

what are the names and paths of detected files? you can also post few lines from the AR log… :wink:

dear whom ever is in charge or has a clue why is avast still doing this ,it still shows up that i have a root-kit virus but i dont ,i guess i will get a different anti-virus i cant even run a scan on my machine or it will start saying i have a rootkit virus …

There is a well known bug with rootkit detection.
Until it’s solved, as a workaround, disable rootkit scanning in the Trobleshooting tab of program settings.
