False-Warnings

Hallo,

I’m a programmer and I work with Delphi.
Each of my programs has been producing an announcement today by the sandbox.
Whether a program is accessing the Internet or not.

How can these errors be corrected?

Thank you

is there a “run normal” and “remember my answer” on the pop-up ?

Hello,
it’s maybe caused by filerep. Never seen files are considered as suspicious. You can add exclusion for that file(s).

Hello,

@Pondus:
No, Only “Exit Nox” or “Run in Sandbox” is showing.

@Milos:
Sure, I can add an exclusion. But my customers?

Hello,
if they are using avast 7, filerep will see that the file was is already known (run by you) so sandbox will not consider it as suspicious. And I can recommend do digitally sign your files, to avoid other features of autosandbox to consider files as suspicious.

Hello,

do you mean, if I add an exclusion, this exclusion also know other computer?

If this were true, I have to add my projects and everything would be OK.

Thanks.

No,
exclusions are not known to other computers, but the file which you execute will have record in filerep which will see other computers.

Milos

Hello,

understood.

Thank you for your quick help.

Hi Delphianer,

Well hope your problem has been solved, but you should remember that certain group of malcreants use Delphi as their language of choice to create their malcreations with, and what if some slipped by. That is why it is always a good idea to digitally sign programs. Web programmers could also help in the first line of defense against malcreations like data stealers, banking trojan malware etc. etc.,
