I need help removing the fake FBI ransomware from my windows 7 64 bit laptop. It has control of one admin user but not the other one. So I do have use of the computer when logged on as that user. I have malwarebytes current version and avast on the pc but their scans don’t seem to detect the malware.
I also removed the questionable toolbars using the avast utility earlier but I also ran adwcleaner
Are you able to boot the infected account to safe mode ? As the winlogon key for other users is not showing in this OTL log
