I got hit with the fbi ransomware disguised as adobe flash apdate. I have tried the avast ransomware remover and many other things but none of them are fast enough to act before the virus takes over the screen. I have tried deleting the app in safe mode but the uninstall button along with all of the others are grayed out. I have also tried removing the administrator permissions for the appwhile in safe mode but it says system applications could not be removed and then takes me back to my home screen. I have a sprint samsung galaxy s3. Any other suggestions other than a complete reset? If this is already posted somewhere else im sorry but I couldnt find it.
