Feature Request - All Platforms - Dark Mode

Greetings,

Returning Avast Customer here, I really like where Avast has gone with the Avast one subscription. An all inclusive subscription is much better than how it was when I left a few years ago.

Anyway, Avast is still much easer too navigate and understand than the competitor I was using, my only complaint with the UI on both windows and android platform is the lack of a dark mode. Which is surprising considering when I left a black and orange color scheme was the default.

please bring back dark mode!

Thanks,

Hi, see: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=304091.msg1657765#msg1657765

Hopefully that won’t mean only Dark Mode (which I dislike), but an option.

C’mon Avast… WHERE’S DARK MODE!

BTW… I HATE the new GUI. Liked the previous one 10x better.

And… where is the RESCUE DISK option. I can’t find it. And your FAQ gives a demo of how to find it using the previous GUI.

Thanks,
Unit 1

Hi,

Are you referring to Avast One or Avast Free?
Can you provide a link to the FAQ you are referring to, please?

Please give users DARK MODE, I was always waiting for the next UI update.

Only if there is a choice. I personally don’t like dark mode.

Agreed, as I mentioned before.

Hi,

Dark mode is available in Avast One for Android, and you can choose between Light and Dark (Profile>Themes)

Hi, I may add that since V2.4 dark mode is also available for iOS devices.

Dark mode is not available on my phone running iOS 15.2.

Version history says so, but it’s nowhere to be found.

Hi, have you tried clicking on the small moon…!?

I do not see a small moon anywhere.

Its in the screenshot you posted, top right corner.

Hi David. That moon is an indicator that the phone’s Do Not Disturb feature is turned on.

For me with android 11 (Samsung Galaxy A51) the do not disturb icon is like a no entry sign, circle with a bar through it and it is displayed on the left side of the screen.

I have always associated the moon symbol as relating to day and night. I don’t use Dark mode on any of my computers or devices.
