Feature request: send calls directly to voice mail

Hello.

Firstly, I want to say big THANK YOU to Avast for this awesome product. I am using it on my android from the first day and i feel that my phone is secured :slight_smile:

I want to ask you about one feature. This is “send calls directly to voicemail” in “SMS and Call Filter” module.
It will be very useful if instead of blocking, avast will redirect all appended numbers to voicemail.
Redirect to voicemail function is in the all android phones, but there is no time period or contact group option.

Please add this feature to avast.

Hi,

thanks for the feedback but I don’t think we are going to add this (at least not anytime soon). Some people have calls blocked and want voicemail, some otherwise. There is currently no space for other options, some of the users are having difficulties setting the filter even now. Maybe we will get to redesign the feature in the future and add it there, but there are no plans to do this at the moment, sorry.

Avast is already sending all my blocked calls directly to voicemail. I just want avast to disconnect/drop the call but I cannot figure out how to get it to do this. How do you get your blocked calls to just be dropped?

MrRAlan, what happens when you decline a call manually? My first thought would be it’s some carrier setting, to automatically redirect declined calls to the voicemail.

When a call comes in, I can swipe to the right to answer it or I can swipe to the left which sends it to voicemail. See attached page from user guide.
