Feature request: Switch off all Avast 8 animations

Hello

Could you please add a tickbox to disable any animation (e.g. moving mouse over scan, software updater etc)? I have a rather old system which struggles with such animations - please make it possible to just have the popup appear instead of sliding into view! The animation itself seems slightly gittery anyway on high end PC’s, so it’s really bad on a 2GHz prescott based celeron :slight_smile:

Disable the icon animation into avast! settings :slight_smile:

hi,
this is a good idea. we will add a possibility to disable all animations.
actually on slower machines we do automatically disable some animations.
when go to the scan page, and clicking on one of the “more details” link, does the box animates a sliding movement?
could you specify which graffic card are you using?
