  1. Add extra protection for webcam and microphone → Blocks unauthorized access of applications to the webcam and microphone and ask user permission.

  2. Add ability to block unauthorized changes of browser settings → Prevent adware and malicious scripts from changing browser start page, search engine and other settings.

I have a simple answer for the unexpected webcam shots:
The webcam is only usable when I allow it:

Normally, this is what my laptop looks like:

If the webcam get’s activated, nothing is transmitted
unless I move the cover out of the way.
