Feels like avast! Persistent Cache Not Working Well on 6.0.1203

Hi,

These days I wonder why avast! takes long time to process files when I open. I noticed that new version takes same amount of time as it takes on first time, when I try to run an application on 2nd, 3rd and n th time. Something wrong with ‘Persistent Cache’? I got no such a problem with former beta version though.

Am I missing something?

The persistent cache surely works as expected, but note that it is only applied to “trusted” files. If the file is not necessarily trusted, it is rescanned upon every boot.

But I’m experiencing this on MS Paint, MS Office applications & Google Chrome mostly. Any suggestions?
