Hello everyone!
It’s the first time I write something on the forum, so if this is not the right section to start this topic, I’m really sorry!
Well, the thing is I’ve bought a new Motorola Razr I with Android Jellybean (4.2 I think). When I installed the Avast app from the Play Store, it detected a “potentially non-wished object” (or something similar). It was the game FIFA 12, an app that the cellphone had brought installed with the Android. As I haven’t downloaded it, it can’t be uninstalled unless I root the smartphone, but I don’t want to do it because of the guarantee.
It seems strange for me that an app included in the phone is detected as a virus. Could it be an error of Avast? I contacted my mobile phone company and they told me that. Should I ignore the ‘virus’ or what? Anyway, the cellphone works perfectly.
Thanks in advance :).
Hi,
what’s the name of the detection?

It is detected as “objeto potencialmente no deseado” (my avast is in Spanish as I’m from Argentina).
Can you switch to English and write exactly what’s there?

I believe he said: “Pontentially Unwanted Program”.
Yeah, but that’s not going to help. I need the detection name.

Hi,
thanks, sent into our viruslab for further analysis, but it might take a while due to the current holidays.

I tried with FIFA 2012 (com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftR2HM) and no detection has been found.
