During a recent MS upgrade Avast Pro reported that a suspicious file was about to be downloaded and suggest I remove it, which I did.
Since then all my Excel spreadsheets refuse to “refresh all” but will accept a single data query refresh.
The problem could be with the MS upgrade or the file that I rejected may actually be required.
How can I find out what the name of the file I rejected was called so that I can investigate further.
I seem to remember the Avast message was something like this “the file about to be downloaded is suspicious as not many other users have it”.
Any clues as to how I can find out what it was please?
Since this was a Windows update, and a new file update, there certainly would not have been many people that used it.
If you find nothing in the virus chest, another update check should still have this update available.
