file system shield: over 96% of files are infected! and rising

hi, i just downloaded avast free and ran a full system scan which found 1 infection. Meanwhile the file system shield has been continually scanning files and after the initially 1000 or so, literally every file is infected.

i have attached a copy of the .txt file so you can see what i mean.

any help regarding this would be extremely welcome.

thank you.

edit: the .txt file was too large to upload! over 3mb ??? so i had to trim a lot of it. but you should still get the gist of it. eventually the disk got too full to move infected files into the chest. over 16k files scanned and over 15k files infected after only a couple of hours.

No, they’re only two files.

Can you schedule a boot-time scanning?

ohhh. haha. i guess i should have looked closer.

i’ve schedule on for the next boot which i’ll perform now.

thanks for the help.
